Chipmunk: The Sensational and Charismatic English Rap Music Superstar
Chipmunk is the sensational fresh and young rapper from Tottenham, London who has taken the rap music industry by storm. Born on 26 November 1990, Jahmaal Noel Fyffe (Chipmunk) is a popular English rapper, talented songwriter and has signed a record agreement with the Columbia Records of Sony Music, UK. Chipmunk has successfully released five smashing top-ten hits at the UK Singles Chart including “Oopsy Daisy” which debuted at number-one position.
His debut album “I Am Chipmunk” which got released in 2009 got charted at second position on the UK Albums Chart and reached platinum sales record of above 300,000 copies. “Chip Diddy Chip”, his first ever official single from the album was released on 16 January 2009 which reached at 21st position on the UK Singles Chart and took him numerous steps forward. His second official single “Diamond Rings” was released on 6 July 2009 which also featured vocals from forthcoming Scottish R&B singer Emeli Sandé. His second official single reached at the 6th position in the UK making it Chipmunk’s first Top 10 hit.
His third official single “Oopsy Daisy” was released on 4 October 2009 which also featured the vocals from Dayo Olatunji and became the number one single on the UK Singles Chart, marking his second successive Top 10 hit as well. Chipmunks fourth official single “Look for Me” featuring the vocals from Talay Riley were released on 28 December 2009 and managed to seal the 7th position on the UK Singles Chart. His fifth and the only official single “Until You Were Gone” to be released from the Platinum Edition re-issue of the album on 19 April 2010, featuring vocals from the Dutch pop and R&B singer Esmée Denters debuted at 3rd position in the UK Singles Chart. His brand new album “Transition” got released in April 2011 and there is definitely no stopping this young English artist from reaching new horizons of success like of no other rap music artist.
